Fleye Copenhagen Carbon Wood eyewear consists of 29 layers of ultra-light carbon fibre and 1 layer of natural wood. The many woven carbon fibre layers ensure for a strong and light frame combined with light and flexible beta titanium temples, ensuring a supremely comfortable fit.
A 0.3 mm thin layer of wood adds an exclusive and natural warmth to the raw carbon fibre frames, allowing us to take the development a step further and develop carbon fibre frames with coloured wood finishes.
In the production of airplanes, bicycles and sailboats, carbon fibre is a popular material due to the specific combination of lightness and strength.
