Bastion sunglasses feature a bold, oversized rectangular silhouette inspired by 1970s design. Defined by deep, chunky temples, Bastion stands apart within the collection. The upper portion of the frame is intentionally oversized, while the lower half is more refined, echoing classic g-man styling. A milled lens perimeter adds depth, while a sharp dip above the bridge introduces a striking edge and heightened presence.

Packaging:

Bastion sunglasses are wrapped in our signature Irish Green fabric, the box opens to reveal a quote from Samuel Beckett: “After all, this window is anything I want it to be.” At its centre is a crown glass window illustration, the focal point of the design, with all other elements intentionally softened to create a fresh, contemplative experience. Each frame arrives nestled in this box, a fusion of Irish history and modern design.

Beneath the first tray lies a certificate of authenticity, printed on heavyweight cardstock with a foil-stamped logo and handwritten details. Every frame is assigned a unique serial code, marking its place in a limited run of 30 to 100 handcrafted pieces. A newly designed cleaning cloth and a companion brochure detailing your frame’s warranty are tucked alongside.
